Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking a reliable Laundry Attendant at the Courtyard by Marriott Charlottesville University Medical Center to support housekeeping by cleaning and organizing linens.

This role offers independent work in a friendly hospitality environment with opportunities to grow in hotel operations. No prior laundry experience is required, but it is a plus; a high school diploma or GED is preferred; First aid certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED or Work Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required. Previous laundry experience preferred.
• Certificates & Licenses: First aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sorts linen (terry, sheets, pillowcases) and weighs linen.
• Loads dryers.
• Know the operating function of the machines.
• Maintain daily productivity standards.
• Fold linen and sheets to proper standards.
• Place folded linen on marked shelves.

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. This position plays a key part in supporting housekeeping by ensuring linens and terry items are cleaned, folded, and available for use throughout the hotel.

Overview:

The Laundry Attendant operates or tends to washers to wash articles, such as towels, linens, blankets, napkins, etc. for the hotel.

Potential Career Paths:

Housekeeping Supervisor – Housekeeping Manager – Operations Manager – Assistant General Manager – General Manager – Area Vice President of Operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sorts linen (terry, sheets, pillowcases). Weigh linen and load in washers.
