Purpose

Under the direction of the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager on duty, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service by offering a clean, safe, and friendly store environment.

Position Responsibilities

1. Customer Service and Satisfaction: Assists customers with payment systems, machine selection and operation, retail purchases, and wash/dry/fold orders; handles customer questions/concerns and reports to management as needed. Maintains a neat appearance and wears the uniform.
2. Store Safety and Security: Ensures a safe environment by following security procedures and prioritizing safety for employees and customers.
3. Store Cleanliness and Upkeep: Keeps the store clean, follows cleaning routines, and documents completion.
4. Building and Equipment Maintenance: Reports maintenance issues and escalates unsafe situations.
5. Retail: Maintains visual presentation of products, understands retail items, processes sales, and encourages additional purchases.
6. Wash/Dry/Fold: Provides quality service, selects appropriate equipment, completes logs, and addresses customer concerns promptly.
7. Policies and Procedures: Adheres to company policies at all times.
8. All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Experience

Knowledge of commercial laundry products and payment systems is a plus but not required.
