Overview

Attend to the cleaning process of hotel linens, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate washing and drying equipment, load and unload laundry, and measure cleaning agents according to product specifications.
2. Monitor washer feeders, ensure all drums are full, and report irregularities to supervisors.
3. Set appropriate drying and cooling times for various linen types.
4. Clean machines and surrounding areas regularly.
5. Adhere to attendance policies and be available to work on a consistent schedule.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of laundry chemicals, formulas, and effects on different linens.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull heavy loads, and stand for long periods, with or without accommodations.
• Lift bundles up to 75 lbs. and push/pull carts up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.

Compensation

Hourly salary: $13.50

Note: This position is not tip or performance bonus eligible.
