Under the direction of the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager on duty, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service through offering a clean, safe, and friendly store environment.

Position Responsibilities

1. Customer Service and Satisfaction: Assists customers with payment systems, machine selection and operation, retail purchases, and wash/dry/fold orders; handles customer questions/concerns and reports to the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager as needed. Maintains a neat appearance and wears the appropriate uniform.
2. Store Safety and Security: Maintains a safe environment inside and outside the store by following security procedures and prioritizing safety.
3. Store Cleanliness and Upkeep: Ensures the store is clean at all times, follows cleaning routines, and documents completion.
4. Building and Equipment Maintenance: Reports maintenance issues and escalates unsafe situations appropriately.
5. Retail: Keeps retail products well-presented, understands products, educates customers, processes sales accurately, and encourages additional purchases.
6. Wash/Dry/Fold: Provides quality service by selecting appropriate equipment, completing orders carefully, and addressing customer concerns promptly. Reports claims to the supervisor immediately.
7. Policies and Procedures: Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience: Knowledge of laundry products and payment systems is a plus but not required.

Skills and Abilities

• Effective communication and ability to work with diverse individuals.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for long periods, manual dexterity, stooping, bending, and lifting are required.
