Job summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites Knoxville Airport Alcoa is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure hotel linens and towels are processed efficiently and kept in pristine condition. You will operate industrial machines, maintain a tidy laundry area, and support housekeeping operations to keep guest areas guest-ready.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move linens throughout shift.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• High school diploma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store hotel linens and towels.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report issues as needed.
• Distribute clean linens to housekeeping staff in a timely manner.
• Follow all laundry, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with inventory and proper storage of linens.
• Support housekeeping operations as needed.
