Job summary

Apache-Junction-Health-Center in Apache Junction, AZ, seeks a laundry/housekeeping aide to provide quality laundry service and maintain a sanitary facility for residents. You will handle linen, sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver items, while following safety and sanitation procedures.

GED or HS diploma required; 1 year experience preferred; AZ Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide a quantity of clean linen for residents
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove damaged items
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed
• Label new resident clothing items as needed
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms
• Follow sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies
• Use laundry equipment safely and report issues to the Administrator
