Job summary

Bishop Care Center in Bishop, CA is seeking a Laundry/Housekeeping Aide to provide clean linen and maintain a sanitary nursing home environment. You will collect, sort, wash, dry and deliver linens, and label clothing items for residents, following safety and quality processes.

Role requires GED or high school diploma and 1 year of experience preferred; basic math skills and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. No special certifications required; equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents' care and comfort.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove damaged items.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident clothing items as needed.
• Sort, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and procedures for laundry duties.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Report equipment issues to the Administrator.
