Job summary

Green Acres Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to support our facility by managing clothing and linens with care. You will sort, wash, dry, and deliver clean items, while maintaining safety and infection-control standards. Collaboration with fellow staff and a positive demeanor are essential.

Responsibilities include organizing, labeling, and storing textiles, and assisting with linen carts and schedule adherence. A supportive, mission-driven environment awaits your contribution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operate maintenance instructions.
• Basic math skills for measurements and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Folds and sorts clothes.
• Hangs clothes on racks according to name and numbers.
• Washes and dries clothes and linens.
• Cleans and disinfects linen carts as requested.
• Keeps equipment clean and follows cleaning schedules.
• Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership.
