Social Row Transitional Care is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform daily laundry operations for residents in a clean, safe facility. Responsibilities include maintaining linen supplies, sorting and washing items, and distributing clean laundry to residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess competency in the areas of laundry and housekeeping.
• Must have good time management and be self-motivated.
• Must be punctual and able to work with all facility personnel.
• Must be able to push, pull and move a minimum of 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an adequate supply of laundry/linen in closets to meet daily resident needs.
• Sort soiled laundry and linen, separating items requiring special treatment.
• Wash and process residents' laundry daily.
• Fold, count, stack, and distribute clean laundry to residents daily.
• Keep walls, ceilings and floors clean and sanitary.
• Clean equipment with proper solutions and disinfectants.
• Discard waste into proper containers and reline trash receptacles.
