Job summary

Valley View Retirement Community in Pennsylvania is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide for a part-time shift from 2PM to 10PM, six days per pay period, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. You will help ensure residents have a clean, safe supply of linens and garments while maintaining a well-organized laundry area.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily laundry tasks according to established procedures.
• Collect, sort, and weigh soiled linens, garments, and personal items.
• Identify and separate items requiring special stain treatment.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Press and iron garments as needed.
• Fold, stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry and linens to residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary laundry environment.
• Ensure an adequate supply of linens is available at all times.

Valley View is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to support the daily operations of our Laundry Department. In this essential role, you will help ensure residents always have a clean, safe, and adequate supply of linens and personal garments.

What You’ll Do

Perform daily laundry tasks in accordance with established procedures

Collect, sort, and weigh soiled linens, garments, and personal items

Fold, stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry and linens to residents

Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary laundry environment
