Blue Heron Senior Living is hiring a Laundry Aide for full-time, evening shifts. You will follow established laundry policies, manage linens, and transport items while using proper protective gear.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow established policies and procedures for laundry tasks.
• Handle soiled linens with proper protocols, including isolation linens, and transport to laundry.
• Wear appropriate protective clothing/equipment while performing duties.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for assigned areas and follow laundry department schedules.
• Protect residents' privacy and rights; maintain confidentiality of care.
• Report incidents or complaints using the facility’s reporting system.

Responsibilities

Laundry Aide Essential Functions

• Laundry Aide will follow established policies/procedures of laundry tasks
• Use proper protocols for picking up soiled linens, including isolation linens, and transporting them to the laundry department
• Use proper protective clothing/equipment while performing laundry duties
• Laundry Aide will maintain all cleaning schedules for each assigned area and following the laundry department schedules
• Maintain the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure residents rights, privacy and property are protected at all times
• Report and document resident and/or visitor incidents, accidents, complaints or allegations according to the facility’s policy and procedure using the designated occurrence reporting system
