Job summary

Piedmont Post Acute in Piedmont, SC is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to maintain clean linens and clothing for residents. The role is part-time with competitive pay and a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include washing, sorting, delivering, and inspecting linens, while following safety and sanitation procedures. Prior laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold resident laundry and facility linens
• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is always available
• Deliver clean clothing and linens to resident rooms
• Inspect linens and remove damaged or stained items from service
• Label resident clothing as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Follow infection control and sanitation procedures
• Safely operate laundry equipment and handle cleaning supplies
• Monitor inventory and report supply needs
• Report equipment issues to leadership promptly

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

1 year laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
