Job summary

Pomona Staffing is seeking a Laundry Aide in Queens, NY, for a full-time role in a Post-Acute and Long-Term Care environment. Responsibilities include safe processing of resident clothing and facility linens, maintaining infection prevention standards and resident property accountability.

Shift options include Morning (6:30-2:30), Evening (2:30-10:30), and Overnight (10:30-6:30). Training is provided; on-site parking and cafeteria are available, with opportunity for growth within a collaborative

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous commercial, healthcare, hotel, or institutional laundry experience preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare environment is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process resident clothing and facility linens safely and efficiently.
• Maintain infection prevention standards and workflow separation.
• Ensure resident property accountability and quality service.
• Utilize barcode scanning technology and the Sortly inventory system.

Laundry Aide

Our client is seeking full-time Laundry Aides that are responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient processing of resident personal clothing and facility linens while maintaining infection prevention standards, workflow separation, resident property accountability, and quality service.

Now hiring for the below shifts:

• Morning Shift (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM)
• Evening Shift (2:30 PM – 10:30 PM)
