Qualifications

• At least 1 year of laundry or related experience preferred; on-the-job training is available.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn new methods and adapt to best practices.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning products and follow all safety procedures.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control and accountability of resident clothing and personal laundry items.
• Distribute freshly laundered clothing daily, ensuring items are matched correctly to residents and room numbers.
• Relabel clothing and personal items as needed.
• Keep residents’ closets neat, organized, and well-maintained.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized laundry area.
• Safely operate laundry equipment and handle cleaning supplies according to facility procedures.
• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.
• Complete, review, and maintain required laundry documentation accurately.
• Follow established infection-control, safety, and facility procedures.
