Job summary

Williamsville Suburban Nursing Home is seeking a full-time Laundry Aide in Williamsville, NY. You will manage the daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing items to residents while maintaining supply levels and cleanliness.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of laundry experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a team-focused, upbeat attitude with weekend availability to support resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Collects, sorts, washes, dries, folds and distributes all laundry items to residents.

• Ensures adequate supply of laundry supplies are in stock.
• Notifies supervisor when supplies are low.
• Keeps laundry carts clean and in good working order.
• Properly stores equipment, tools and supplies.
• Keeps a log of missing items, and returns them when found.
• Reports any mechanical or equipment needs to supervisor.
• Reports any questionable resident conditions to supervisor.

Williamsville Suburban, a premier long term skilled nursing facility located in Williamsville, New York, is looking to hire aFull Time Laundry Aide to perform unique and critical duties in the day-to-day operation of our facility. TheLaundry Aide will maintain and assure that an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents.
