Yona Solutions in Searcy, AR is seeking a Laundry Aide to join the team. Experience is not required, but preferred.

You will play an essential role in providing warm and friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers, ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment. You will transport and sort linen, operate commercial washers and dryers, keep accurate linen inventory, deliver laundry, and follow all company policies.

Responsibilities

• Transport laundry containers of soiled and clean linen.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers.
• Sort and load linen, fold and stock finished items.
• Maintain accurate linen inventory records.
• Washes, dries, folds, and distributes customer clothing as needed.
• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needsDelivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
