Job summary

Canyon Springs Post Acute is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to join our team. This Full-Time PM shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) offers a consistent schedule and pays $18.45 to $19.00 per hour.

You will help provide a clean, comfortable, and sanitary environment for residents by performing laundry and housekeeping tasks according to facility standards. Key duties include maintaining linen supply, sorting, washing, drying, folding, delivering laundry to rooms, and adhering to infection control

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, or related experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens for resident care.
• Maintain linens in good condition and remove worn items.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms promptly.
• Follow sanitation and infection control procedures.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry area.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when supplies are low.

Canyon Springs Post Acute is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. In this role, you will help provide a clean, comfortable, and sanitary environment for our residents by performing laundry and housekeeping duties in accordance with facility standards and infection control guidelines.

Essential Duties

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for resident care and comfort.
• Maintain all linens in good condition and remove items with stains, tears, or excessive wear.
• Collect resident laundry daily or as needed.
• Label new residents' clothing and personal items as necessary.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner.
• Follow all sanitation, infection control, and laundry procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and properly.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Administrator.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry area.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

• One (1) year of laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, or related experience preferred.
