Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for resident care and comfort.
• Maintain linens in good condition; remove stained or worn items.
• Collect resident laundry daily or as needed.
• Label residents' clothing and personal items as necessary.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms promptly.
• Follow sanitation and laundry procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and properly.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Administrator.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry area.
