Job summary

Canyon Springs Post Acute in San Jose, CA is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to help provide a clean, comfortable, and sanitary environment for residents by performing laundry and housekeeping duties.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver linens, maintain inventory, follow infection control guidelines, and report equipment issues. The role offers steady hours, competitive benefits, and a welcoming team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens for resident care.
• Maintain all linens in good condition and remove items with stains, tears, or excessive wear.
• Collect resident laundry daily or as needed.
• Label new residents' clothing and personal items as necessary.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner.
• Follow all sanitation, infection control, and laundry procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and properly.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Administrator.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry area.
