Job summary

Mission Valley Post Acute in Fremont, CA is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to ensure clean, well-maintained linens and clothing for residents while supporting a safe, comfortable environment.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold, label, and deliver laundry, follow infection control procedures, manage inventory, and assist with general housekeeping to maintain a sanitary facility.

Competitive hourly pay starting at $18.00–$18.54 and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for resident care and comfort.
• Inspect linens and remove damaged or stained items from service.
• Collect residents' laundry daily or as needed.
• Label new residents' clothing as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms promptly and accurately.
• Follow all infection control, sanitation, and laundry procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and according to facility procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Administrator.
• Assist with general housekeeping and cleaning duties as assigned to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and odor-free environment.
