Canyon Springs Post Acute in California is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide for the PM shift to support resident comfort by handling laundry and light housekeeping in accordance with infection control standards. The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to safety.

A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with 1 year of related experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of laundry, housekeeping, or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens for resident care.
• Maintain linens in good condition and remove worn items.
• Collect resident laundry daily or as needed.
• Label new residents' clothing and personal items.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms promptly.
• Follow sanitation and infection control procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify when low.
• Operate laundry equipment safely.
• Report equipment issues to the Administrator.
• Keep laundry area clean, safe, and organized.
