Job summary

Roseville Care Center is seeking a dedicated Laundry/Housekeeping Aide to provide clean linen and maintain sanitary conditions for residents. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver laundry, label items, and ensure linen availability for care and comfort.

Requirements include a GED or high school diploma, 1 year of experience preferred, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety and sanitary procedures in a team environment.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is required or preferred.
• 1 year of experience in laundry/housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry procedures.
• Basic math skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents' care and comfort.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove damaged items from service.
• Label new resident clothing items as needed and sort clothing and linens.
• Wash, dry and fold clothing and linens; deliver to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Use laundry equipment safely and report issues to the Administrator.
