Job summary

Roseville Care Center is seeking a dedicated laundry/housekeeping aide to maintain clean linens and a sanitary environment for residents. You will sort, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens, label resident items, and deliver laundry to rooms while following safety and sanitation procedures.

The role requires a GED or High School Diploma with 1 year of experience preferred; you should be able to read directions, perform basic math, and solve problems as needed. No certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents
• Maintain all linen in good repair and remove from service any linen with holes and/or stains
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed
• Label new resident's clothing items as needed
• Sorting, treating, washing, drying and folding clothing and linens
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms
• Follow sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties; maintain inventory of laundry supplies
• Use laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner; report equipment issues to the Administrator

Job description

Performs a variety of general laundry and housekeeping/cleaning duties to provide quality laundry service and to maintain the nursing home in a sanitary manner, and free from offensive orders.

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents.
• Maintain all linen in good repair and remove from service any linen with holes and/or stains.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident's clothing items as needed
• Sorting, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms
• Follows all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties Maintain inventory of laundry supplies
• Use all laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator
