Job summary

Rosedale Health & Rehab in Richmond, VA is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide for a full-time 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and linens, operate laundry equipment, and maintain a clean, sanitary area to support resident comfort and care.

The ideal candidate demonstrates detail orientation, can work independently and with a team, and follows safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, healthcare, or long-term care experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, linens, towels, and other laundry items
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow established infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area

• Report equipment concerns or malfunctions promptly
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping, nursing, and other facility departments

Rosedale Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our team on the 3 PM–11 PM shift. In this role, you’ll help ensure our residents have clean linens, clothing, and a comfortable environment while being part of a supportive healthcare team.

What You’ll Do
