Job summary

Rosedale Health & Rehab in Richmond, VA is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide for the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident linens and clothing while following infection control and safety protocols in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, healthcare, or long-term care experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, linens, towels, and other laundry items
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow established infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area
• Properly handle and store clean and soiled linens
• Monitor laundry supplies and notify leadership when additional supplies are needed
• Report equipment concerns or malfunctions promptly
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping, nursing, and other facility departments
• Help ensure residents receive their personal clothing and belongings accurately and timely

What You’ll Do
