Job summary

Vasona Creek Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our environmental services team in Los Gatos, CA.

You will ensure linens, garments, and bedding are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and distributed to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for residents and patients.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions for equipment and chemicals.
• Strong physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliability, teamwork, and commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, blankets, towels, and personal clothing of residents.
• Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and folding equipment safely.
• Use appropriate chemical formulas and washing cycles for different fabrics.
• Inspect linens for stains or damage and treat or discard items as necessary.
• Deliver clean linens to nursing units and resident rooms efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry room area.
• Adhere to infection control policies and healthcare safety guidelines.

Job Summary

In this role, you will ensure that all linens, garments, and bedding are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and distributed to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for our residents and patients.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Weekdays and weekend rotation required

Key Responsibilities
