Job summary

Friendship Village seeks a compassionate and energetic Laundry Aide to join the Environmental Services team. This full-time position on second shift (3pm–11pm) offers meaningful daily work washing, sorting and distributing community laundry to uphold high cleanliness standards.

You will follow health regulations, operate equipment, and contribute to a safe, welcoming living environment for residents. Starting pay is $15 per hour, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Commercial laundry experience is desirable, but not required.
• Ability to process 50–60 pounds of laundry at a time.

Responsibilities

• Collects, cleans and redistributes the Community laundry.
• Ensures that all Health Center laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to State and Federal regulations.
• Ensures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Environmental Services team as a Laundry Aide that is responsible for carrying out the normal activities of the laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, sorting, etc. of clothing and linens.
