Job summary

Brethren Care Village in Ashland, OH, is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to support the Health Care Center. Shift: Days (8am - 4pm). Base rate: $12.50/hr to $14.30/hr depending on experience to be applied.

The role involves operating washers/dryers, sorting and delivering resident laundry, and maintaining dignity and respect for residents. The organization emphasizes compassionate care and values-driven teamwork within a Christian-based senior living community.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of equipment and procedures for washing linens of various soils preferred.
• Understanding the functions of soaps, bleaches, softeners, and other chemicals used in washing and rinsing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads washers and dryers.
• Sorts, folds, stack clean linen.
• Washes, dries, sorts and delivers residents personal laundry.
• Respects and shows kindness to residents.

The Laundry Aide in the Health Care Center supports our mission and values by maintaining clean clothing and linens for our residents.

The Laundry Aide's primary responsibilities will include:

• Loads and unloads washers and dryers.
• Sorts, folds, stack clean linen.
• Washes, dries, sorts and delivers residents personal laundry.
• Respects and shows kindness to residents.

What is required in this position?

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

• Understanding the functions of various soaps, bleaches, softeners, and other chemicals used in washing and rinsing preferred
