Job summary

Hiawatha Care Center is seeking a Laundry Aide to support linen services and resident comfort. You will keep linens and clothing clean, deliver items to rooms, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The role offers full-time evening shifts (3PM – 11PM), with a weekend schedule and a weekend bonus. Benefits include health/dental/vision and 401(k) with company match, PTO, and EAP.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred.
• Ability to follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process linens and laundry as a Laundry Aide.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, hang, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
• Deliver personal clothing and linens to resident rooms and designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry department.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed to support a clean and safe environment.
• Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety protocols.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns.
• Support resident comfort and daily facility operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Laundry Aide plays an important role in ensuring clean linens, clothing, and living spaces are properly maintained to support resident care and daily operations. As a Laundry Aide, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while providing quality service to residents and staff.

What We Offer

Compensation: $15 per hour

Additional Pay

• Eligible for an additional $5 per hour worked on Saturday and Sunday (Weekend Bonus)
