Job summary

Hiawatha Care Center is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to support linen services and resident comfort. You will ensure clean linens and clothing, maintain a safe laundry area, and assist with daily operations to support high-quality care.

This full-time evening position runs 3PM–11PM, including weekends, with benefits such as health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, and EAP. Prior laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services preferred.
• Ability to follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process linens and laundry as a Laundry Aide.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, hang, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
• Deliver personal clothing and linens to resident rooms and designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry department.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed to support a clean and safe environment.
• Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety protocols.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns.
• Support resident comfort and daily facility operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hiawatha Care Center is actively hiring a Laundry Aide to support linen services, environmental cleanliness, and resident comfort. The Laundry Aide plays an important role in ensuring clean linens, clothing, and living spaces are properly maintained to support resident care and daily operations. As a Laundry Aide, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while providing quality service to residents and staff.

What We Offer

Compensation:

$15 per hour

Additional Pay

• Eligible for an additional $5 per hour worked on Saturday and Sunday (Weekend Bonus)
