Job summary

Timber Point Healthcare Center in Illinois is seeking a Laundry Aide to ensure the availability of clean linens for residents in our long-term care facility. You will transport soiled laundry, operate commercial washers and dryers, sort items, fold linens, and distribute resident clothing to rooms.

You will also help maintain laundry areas and stock, and follow all policies. Full-time or part-time shifts are available, with day and evening options to fit different schedules.

Responsibilities

• Transport soiled laundry containers and linen to and from the laundry area.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sort and load soiled linens into washers; load clean linens into dryers and fold them.
• Distribute resident personal clothing to rooms/closets.
• Maintain laundry equipment and keep laundry areas clean and stocked.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and notify supervisor of any needs.

Timber Point Healthcare Center - Laundry Aide

Come be a part of real change! As a Laundry Aide, you will pay a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in our long-term care facility. In this role, you will transport laundry containers of soiled linen, operate commercial washing machines and dryers, sort and load soiled linens into washers, and load clean wet linens into dryers, folding linens, distributing resident personal clothing to their rooms/closets, maintain laundry equipment and laundry areas, follows all company policies and procedures, checks stock and notifies supervisor of any needs.

Both Full -time and Part -time hours available. Day and evening shifts available.
