• Provide full range of laundry services for residents, staff and facility.

• Use proper protocols for picking up soiled linens and transporting them to the laundry department.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for each area and follow department schedules.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Report incidents, accidents or complaints per facility policy.

Responsibilities

Laundry Aide Primary Responsibilities

The Laundry Aide is responsible for providing the full range of laundry services to the facility, staff and residents and to maintain a successful laundry program that meets facility quality assurance standards.

• Laundry Aide will follow established policies/procedures of laundry tasks
• Use proper protocols for picking up soiled linens, including isolation linens, and transporting them to the laundry department
• Use proper protective clothing/equipment while performing laundry duties
• Laundry Aide will maintain all cleaning schedules for each assigned area and following the laundry department schedules
• Maintain the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure residents rights, privacy and property are protected at all times
• Report and document resident and/or visitor incidents, accidents, complaints or allegations according to the facility’s policy and procedure using the designated occurrence reporting system
