Job summary

Teach For America is seeking individuals to join a two-year, full-time teaching corps in under-resourced public schools across the United States. Corps members will teach full-time, build strong relationships with students and families, and develop leadership through daily classroom responsibilities.

Candidates from all majors are encouraged to apply. The program provides salary, health insurance, and extensive training, with opportunities for ongoing support and a pathway to teaching

Qualifications

• 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher
• Bachelor’s degree (in any field of study)
• Must be a citizen, national, or legal resident of the United States, EAD holder, or have DACA status

Responsibilities

• Teach two years full-time in an under-resourced public school
• Build genuine relationships with students and families — not just lesson plans
• Learn to navigate the barriers kids face inside and outside the classroom
• Sharpen your communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills through daily classroom leadership
• Work alongside your school community to remove obstacles and open doors for students who need it most
