Ecolab in North Boston, MA is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to join our team and protect public health and commerce through science-based pest elimination. You will start with a 5-week paid training, building the skills to safeguard facilities and brands while growing within service, sales, or management tracks.

The role emphasizes field-based work, customer interaction, and ongoing licensing to support a long-term career at Ecolab.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Must obtain pest certification and/or business licensing per state/local law.
• Background check required for job offer.
• Drug test including THC for all job offers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice industries.
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain expertise in Ecolab’s product and service offerings to enhance service and sales.
• Use handheld equipment to document structural, sanitation, and pest issues.
• Deliver timely, cost-effective, high-quality service under supervision.
• Obtain required pest control licensing and/or certification as mandated by state/local law.
