This entry-level role emphasizes reliability and stamina, with duties including stock control, opening/closing tasks, and assisting with light kitchen prep as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a commercial or hotel kitchen is preferred.
• Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• The Dishwasher is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, often in a hot environment; may lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, orderly, safe and efficient dish area
• Provide kitchen and waitstaff with serving items and cookware needed to serve guests
• Aid in removing trash, putting away deliveries and completing opening/closing lists as time allows
• Ensure all chemicals and required equipment are in stock and in working order
• Help with general kitchen prep when able
• Other duties as assigned by the Chef
