Job summary

Trailborn Highlands in Highlands, NC is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain a clean back-of-house environment and support the culinary team. You will wash pots, pans, and utensils, sanitize china, glass, and silverware, and help keep par levels stocked for service.

This full-time or part-time role offers a flexible schedule, a pay rate of $18/hour, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k), and discounts. Applicants should be able to stand long hours in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to clean and keep area organized.

• Maintain organization and assist cooks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and smallwares for kitchen operations.
• Clean and sanitize all china, glass, and silverware for FOH operations.
• Maintain par levels of supplies and notify management if low.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment per HAACP standards.
• Communicate with management, chefs, and staff to address issues.
• Ensure storeroom requisitions are accurate.
• Ensure cleanliness of all work areas and equipment.
• Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
