• Level 3 requires 5 years of related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with a Master’s or 1 year with a PhD.
• Applicants must be a current U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and verify System Safety requirements to mitigate inherent risks.
• Analyze launch vehicle and ground support equipment to ensure safe operations.
• Interface with customers, partners, and internal teams on safety topics.
• Support design, development, and testing to meet safety and mission goals.
• Review safety criteria in system design and procedures to control hazards.
