Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Test & Launch Technician to ensure readiness of ground systems, vehicles, and engines for test and launch operations at Launch Site One in Van Horn, TX. You will verify integrations, perform pre-launch inspections, and support data acquisition while upholding strict safety standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on assembly, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and mission control to ensure mission success and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, testing, or related technical field.
• Proficiency with standard mechanical tools and fabrication equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate in confined spaces.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office, 1 year used in professional or academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ground systems, vehicles, and engines for launch/test via setup and readiness tasks.
• Verify integration and functionality of components using checklists and protocols.
• Conduct pre-launch/test inspections; troubleshoot readiness issues and escalate as needed.
• Assist in vehicle/engine integration, alignment, instrumentation setup, and data acquisition.
• Disassemble and inspect post-launch/test hardware; maintain safety and documentation.
