Job summary

United Launch Alliance is seeking a Mechanical Engineer 2 to support the Engineering and Infrastructure Major Projects team at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This role focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance and repair for launch infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 2 years of related experience, with strong skills in drawings, technical writing, and cross-functional coordination.

• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Strong ability to read drawings and write clear technical scope documents.

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering and Infrastructure Major Projects team at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
• Serve as a field-facing mechanical project engineer planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance, repair, and sustainment work for launch infrastructure.
• Coordinate across multiple groups and disciplines to keep launch facilities ready and safe.
