Job summary

United Launch Alliance is seeking a Mechanical Engineer 2 to support the Engineering and Infrastructure Major Projects team at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance and sustainment for critical launch infrastructure.

You will work on mechanical and structural systems, including movable platforms, doors, hydraulics, pneumatics, actuators, and related facility systems, ensuring safety and readiness for processing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience with mechanical systems such as hydraulics, actuators, pneumatic systems, or related equipment.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and procedures and write clear technical scope documents.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills across multiple groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance, repair, and sustainment work for launch processing and support infrastructure.
• Focus on mechanical and structural facility systems within facilities and launch complexes.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure safety, reliability, and readiness for processing operations.
