Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 3+ years of civil design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Willingness to travel to sites for field work and inspections.
• Strong communication and ability to present site decisions.
• Adaptable to changing priorities in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil planning and conceptual site design for launch site infrastructure.
• Walk ground, assess constraints, and justify candidate layouts.
• Coordinate with A/E partners; shape scope and resolve cross-discipline conflicts.
• Support environmental planning and regulatory compliance (NEPA, surveys).
• Produce sketch-level civil design in AutoCAD Civil 3D to support feasibility studies.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, fluids, geotech teams.
• Develop statements of work and technical scope for civil activities.
• Use BIM workflows to keep site design coordinated across disciplines.
• Identify risks early and drive them to closure.
