Job summary

Actalent in the United States is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to lead cross-functional engineering programs from concept to production launch, coordinating schedules, deliverables, risks, and launch readiness with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and external partners.

The role emphasizes DFMEA, ASPICE-aligned processes, and tight leadership of multiple concurrent programs; on-site in Sheboygan, WI, with a contract-to-hire path and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in the automotive industry with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present program status, risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders.
• Proven track record of driving continuous process improvement in engineering and program management.

Responsibilities

• Manage new product development programs through all phases from concept to launch.
• Develop and track detailed project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate resources and cross-functional teams to meet program objectives.
• Lead design and technical reviews and document engineering decisions.
• Own engineering changes (ECR/ECN) and ensure effective implementation.
• Identify risks and drive issue resolution to maintain launch readiness and quality.
• Support prototype builds, validation, pilot runs, and production launches.
• Communicate status and recovery plans to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain program documentation and pursue continuous process improvement.
