Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to lead multi-disciplinary engineering programs from concept through production launch. The role requires coordinating schedules, deliverables, risk mitigation, and cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

You will drive design reviews, manage ECR/ECN changes, and ensure launch readiness while maintaining thorough program documentation and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in automotive industry and with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers is preferred.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales.
• Strong communication skills to present program status, risks and recovery plans to stakeholders.
• Proven track record of driving continuous process improvement in engineering and program management environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional engineering programs from concept through production launch.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate resources and cross-functional teams to align activities and resolve conflicts.
• Lead design and technical reviews with proper documentation.
• Own and drive engineering changes (ECR/ECN) and approvals.
• Identify and mitigate program risks and drive issue resolution.
• Support prototypes, validation, pilot runs, and launches.
• Communicate program status and recovery plans to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive program documentation and drive process improvements.
