Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sub Same Day (SSD) Operations Engineer to own end‑to‑end testing and validation of site configurations for new launches, retrofits, and expansions. You will coordinate with Launch, IT, Startup, Engineering, and Operations teams to align milestones and drive schedules to go‑live readiness.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of experience, and a proven ability to manage cross‑functional programs in ambiguous environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams through launch readiness and go‑live phases.
• 3+ years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end testing and validation of site configurations across new launches and retrofits, ensuring all virtual and physical systems are ready for operations prior to go‑live.
• Partner with internal teams (Launch, IT, Startup, Engineering, Operations) and external vendors to set project priorities, milestones, and drive schedules.
• Proactively assess configuration readiness, identify gaps or risks, and drive solutions to mitigate impact.
• Lead and coordinate execution efforts to validate systems, equipment, and automated processes.
• Monitor and report on testing progress including milestones and conditions affecting launch cost or schedule.
• Travel up to 80% domestically; coordinate up to three weeks away, including weekends.
