Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Connected Vehicle Launch Quality Lead to ensure quality of new vehicle launches. This hybrid on-site/off site role focuses on diagnosing DTC trends across IVI, BCM, and ADAS using connected vehicle data and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 3+ years in automotive engineering, quality management or data analytics.
• 3+ years of IVI, BCM, and ADAS knowledge.
• 3+ years of CAN/Ethernet, DTC logic/strategies experience.
• 3+ years with Big Data tools (SQL, BigQuery, DML, or PowerBI).
• 3+ years leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Masters degree in Electrical/Computer/Systems/Data Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Extract and analyze connected vehicle data to identify early-stage DTCs and anomalies.
• Lead investigations into IVI, BCM, and ADAS performance to differentiate software, hardware, and calibration issues.
• Manage cross-functional quality investigations and ensure root-cause is resolved by Product Development teams.
• Strategic reporting: synthesize data into insights for leadership on cost and quality.
• Drive automated detection tools and analytics dashboards to improve speed to detection.
