Job summary

Ford Motor Company is hiring for a Vehicle Calibration and Test (VCT) Supervisor in a hybrid role. You will lead VCT manufacturing engineering activities across new model launches, ensuring compliance with GVOSS and ergonomic standards while driving tooling improvements.

Travel to NA plants will be up to 70% to support installations and issue resolution. The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years in final assembly process and tooling development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar technical field (required).
• 5+ years' experience in Final Assembly Process & Tooling Development.
• Strong computer skills with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to operate in stressful situations within timing constraints.
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
• Extended travel to assembly plants in US, Canada, and/or Mexico (up to 70%).
• Leadership communication skills aligned with Director/VP level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide VCT manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program from KO through launch.
• Ensure compliance to GVOSS and Ergonomic standards for calibration and test systems.
• Develop and implement improvements to tooling software and hardware using data from dashboards.
• Support program launch reviews and validate scorecards.
• Lead capital project teams for capital requests and manage projects from concept to commissioning.
• Lead costing for test implementation and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Provide onsite prototype build support at NA manufacturing plants; travel to US/Canada/Mexico as needed.
• Coordinate all pre-launch EOL validation events from DCV through MP2.
• Assist plant teams in resolving EOL performance issues.
• Lead lessons learned feedback to drive Process Driven Product Design standards.
