Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Sr. Global Supply Chain Manager in Phoenix to craft procurement strategies for the Chassis Mechanical system and to partner with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver world-class products on time and within cost targets.

You will lead cross-functional teams through development and industrialization, establish a global supply chain strategy, manage supplier relationships, and drive decisive actions across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering.
• Proven experience with complex analysis, consulting, supply chain, and data analytics.
• Impeccable visual presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective stamping, extrusion, casting, thermal control, and adhesive supply partners.
• Establish KPIs to measure supplier performance and drive improvements.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions for Lucid.
• Forecast demand for cylindrical battery cell requirements and align with inventory strategies.
• Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain and monitor financial stability of the supply base.
• Lead cost reduction negotiations and track savings impact on the BOM cost.
• Lead cross-functional teams with Engineering, Program Management, Quality, Material Planning and Production.
• Travel 10-20% to visit suppliers and conduct program reviews.
