Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Manager, Material Planning Launch & Powertrain Planning to lead material planning for new program launches and oversee the powertrain planning team at our Casa Grande, AZ or Phoenix, AZ facility. You will ensure material readiness, supplier execution, and MRP discipline to protect production and launch continuity.

Qualifications

• 10 years of material planning experience in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment.
• 5 years of people leadership or management experience.
• Deep understanding of MRP processes, supplier delivery management, and production material readiness.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Launch material planning for pre-series, launch, and ramp builds; drive on-time material availability for new programs.
• Direct the powertrain planning team to secure the supply of drive units, motors, inverters, gearboxes and related components.
• Lead material planning to ensure parts and materials are available in full and on time for launch and serial production.
• Own MRP operating discipline and communicate production and launch requirements to a global supplier network.
• Manage engineering changes, running changes, and phase-in/phase-out activities to avoid line-down risk and obsolescence.
