Job summary

Landing is seeking a hands-on Launch Operations Manager to join our Field Operations team on the East Coast. You will oversee launches from signing to completion, coordinating deinstall/reinstall logistics for furnished units across multiple markets.

You will manage contractors, keep projects on schedule, train crews, and provide concise status updates. This role requires travel up to 75% and a proactive, cost-conscious approach to delivering high-quality builds.

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on role, property management or logistics.
• Willing to learn furniture assembly, TV mounting, painting, cleaning, and moving to train contractors.
• Proven project management track record for complex installations.
• Experience managing project budgets and cost-saving measures.
• Excellent attention to detail for installation and launch processes.
• Strong communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Leadership to guide on-site teams toward goals.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and sequence launches for 3–5 projects (5–50 furnished units each) with ~2-week timelines.
• Source, negotiate, and contract movers, cleaners, painters, furniture assemblers, TV mounters; secure best pricing.
• Lead on-site operations: meet property teams, direct contractors, complete punch lists, and ensure deadline compliance.
• Train contractors on painting, moving, and TV mounting to ensure quality.
• Coordinate remotely with stakeholders via Slack, Dialpad, and Google Workspace; provide status reports and escalate obstacles.
• Champion quality control with final walk-throughs and brand-standard hand-off.
