Job summary

Landing is seeking a hands-on Launch Operations Manager to lead the rollout of autopilot furnishings and installations across East Coast markets. You’ll manage the end-to-end process after signing, coordinating movers, trades, and hands-on installation while controlling costs and timelines.

You will oversee on-site activities, train contractors, and maintain rigorous quality standards. The role requires travel up to 75% with a competitive $75,000 base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in property management, logistics, or related field.
• Willingness to learn furniture assembly, TV mounting, painting, cleaning, and moving to train contractors.
• Strong project management with a track record of overseeing complex logistics.
• Experience managing project budgets and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Attention to detail to ensure installation and launch quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with teams.
• Creative problem-solving to address on-site issues promptly.
• Ability to lead on-site teams and maintain high quality standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and sequence launches for 3–5 projects (5–50 furnished units each), aiming for ~2-week timelines.
• Source, negotiate, and contract movers, painters, cleaners, furniture assemblers, TV mounters, and trades; secure best-in-market pricing through persistent negotiation.
• Lead on-site operations: meet property teams, direct contractors, conduct walk-throughs, resolve issues, close punch lists, and assist hands on with whatever needs to be done to ensure the project is completed prior to the deadline.
• Train and educate contractors on tasks like painting, moving, and TV mounting to ensure quality and professionalism.
• Coordinate remotely with project stakeholders via Slack, Dialpad, and GoogleWorkspace; provide concise status reports and escalates obstacles promptly.
• Champion quality control: conduct final walk‑throughs and verify that all units meet brand standards before hand‑off to the local team.
